My wife told the cashier , name on receipt is Xavier B. , that he had already scanned 3 - 12 packs of sodas & he said he didn't. Once she received the receipt she looked it over and he charged us for 4 - 12 packs. I showed the girl who bagged our groceries and at no time did she apologize she just stated , get in the line again and he will refund your money. I handed the receipt to the cashier and he snatched the receipt out of my hand and rolled his eyes as to have disgusted in having to help me by correcting his mistake. At NO TIME did he apologize for his mistake and when he placed the money in my had he used force when putting the money in my hand. He then turned away and I said , " Thank you " & he stated in a hateful tone , " YEAH " ! I then once again said " Thank you " & at point he then turned facing me & in a very loud voice said , " I SAID YEAH !!! ". His unprofessional should not be tolerated nor condoned. My wife and I will NEVER shop here again & I will share my experience with the rest of my colleagues at Dow.

Geeze, as a local Angleton, Tx resident, I wish I could rate our local HEB (Pantry) a (5) stars ☆☆☆☆☆ However, it DOESN'T compare to Lake Jackson's much larger scale HEB! What a shame. Angleton neighbors other adjacent smaller towns that would obviously bring business to a bigger/better HEB prospect expansion as Lake Jackson has done. Wake up city mayor or whoever can make that happen bcoz an Angleton (+) size NOT Pantry size would make the difference for those of us commuting to Lake Jackson taking our business there when were Angleton residents preferring lrg scale HEB products. Other drawbacks w/all HEB stores are their CHEAP recyclable bags! As a carpal tunnel issues patient, double bagging is a must! I recycle all bags. What's the issue? Take a lesson from Target they have superb recycle bags. In the late 80's I worked for HEB. I'm sure much has changed since but never should their customer service! Cashiers are generally rude, have a mindset of,"Campton Races," when it comes to their check out scanning skill point that is monitored I know. Bottom line, pause the order, be careful of what is being scanned, HELP SACK, BE RESPECTFUL of the customers order of doing their food line up as opposed to insisting on scanning items under the basket they'll get scanned eventually insisting gets in the way thru limited space & is suggestive making the customer feel as if they're out to be thieves of items forgotten under the basket!!!! A job well done goes a long way. Looking fwd to a bigger/better HEB in our Angleton area.

Our favorite grocery store! Always a great store for grocery basics, easy in, easy out, which makes it our grocery store of choice, don't really need to go anywhere else... Wonderful folks who had everything we needed for Thanksgiving dinner, on the afternoon before Thanksgiving, with knowledgeable workers in front of the aisles to help folks find what they needed! However, it is frustrating to have to get on my knees and reach into the back of the shelf, to get the dog food our critters love...

I've shopped at a few of the grocery stores in town; most are adequate. This location of H-E-B is by far my favorite. It's organized in a logical manner, clean shelves, floors, and products, well stocked, pleasing presentation of all departments, and they carry some hard to find items! I've not been in a store in a lot of years where every worker you pass on the floor gives acknowledgement. I'm "sold" on this location being my go-to for all my grocery needs.
